Terms of Service

These Terms of Service govern your use of Bizou. By using Bizou or purchasing a report, you agree to these terms.

1. About Bizou

Bizou is a career intelligence service operated from Brussels, Belgium. We produce personalized career reports based on user-provided data (GitHub, bio, optional CV upload, questionnaire).

2. Nature of the service — informational only

Bizou reports are informational. They do not constitute professional career advice, legal advice, financial advice, or guarantees about employment, salary, or any future outcomes. Career decisions are yours alone, made with full responsibility for the consequences.

Bizou uses AI models (large language models) to generate analysis. AI output may contain inaccuracies, outdated information, or interpretation errors. Reports should be considered one input among many, not authoritative truth.

3. Pricing & payment

A Bizou career audit costs €29, one-time. The price is final — no recurring charges, no hidden fees. No VAT is charged at this time.

Payment is taken via SEPA bank transfer. After you submit your order, we display our IBAN and a unique payment reference. Your order is processed once the transfer is received and confirmed.

4. Delivery

Once payment is confirmed, we generate and deliver your report within 48 hours. In practice, most reports are delivered within minutes; the 48-hour window is a buffer for weekends and delays in bank settlement.

Your report is delivered as a downloadable PDF, accessible from a private link sent to your email and from your order page.

5. Refunds

If the report does not meet your expectations for €29, email hello@bizou.app within 7 days of delivery and we will refund you in full. No questions asked.

By proceeding with payment, you expressly request immediate performance of the service. You acknowledge that once your personalized report is delivered, the statutory 14-day right of withdrawal under EU Consumer Rights Directive 2011/83/EU no longer applies. Our 7-day satisfaction refund above is offered voluntarily and is more generous than that standard.

6. Intellectual property

The Bizou name, design, code, and brand are the property of Bizou. You retain full ownership of any content you submit (CV, GitHub username, bio, questionnaire answers) and of the report we produce for you. We use your data only to generate your report and improve the service in aggregate, anonymous form.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Submit data that does not belong to you (e.g., someone else's CV or GitHub)
• Use Bizou to harass, defame, or harm any individual
• Attempt to reverse-engineer the service or scrape data
• Use automated tools to interact with Bizou without permission

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Belgian and EU law, Bizou is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the service. The total liability of Bizou, if ever applicable, is limited to the amount you paid for the service in the past 12 months.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by Belgian law. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Brussels.

10. Changes

We may update these terms as Bizou evolves. Material changes affecting existing customers will be communicated by email.
